Gifts for every loved one

There’s a gift for every hobby and sentiment. We’ve selected sewing kits, cookware, quirky antique book sculptures and knitwear for those lockdown winter walks.

Shop small this Christmas with MADE MAKERS online, live from 7pm on Friday 4th – Sunday 6th December.

For the lockdown hobbyist: Dolly Clothing Lewes

“I’ll be exhibiting our new kits for the first time. They are pre-cut and marked up so all you have to do is sew it up with a little help from me via my How To Videos. I’ll also exhibit a collection of my limited-edition prints, illustrative studio pottery, cards, and illustrated paper goods. We have BIG plans for 2020 – DOLLY has moved into bigger premises to launch a Sustainable Clothing Hub, launching more kits and classes. We really hope you’ll all come to visit and share our exciting journey.”

For the winter walker: Chelache Knits

“I’ll launch some special discount bundles, with a number of one-off pieces, knitted scarves, hats and handwarmers. We have stocking filler gifts like men’s ties and head bands. And hand knitted cushions, Christmas decorations and patterns with profits going towards refugee charity UNHCR.”

For the antique book-lover: Alexander Korzer-Robinson

“I will exhibit book sculptures, made from antiquarian books, shadow boxes made from cut paper and giclee-printed acetate, and my “Acrobat” sand powered automaton. Also, I am offering a 25% discount on the book sculptures for the duration of the event.”

For the home chef: Bridget Timoney

“I will show a large selection of my main range along with some new bottles I have been developing over the past few months, and smaller pieces e.g. dip bowls and soap dishes. I have also made some festive tealight holders, which are perfect stocking fillers or for gifts under £10. My mailing list subscribers can get 10% off all sales during the weekend plus free delivery.”
