As events are pushed back and galleries remain closed, we’ve been searching for the best way to support contemporary artists and designers.
In June 2020, the first ever MADE MAKERS online fair was held: one platform, two days, 80 makers, and 8,500 online visitors.
A portion of sales went to Refuge, Mind and Crafts Council, raising around £6,000 to support the important work these charities accomplish.
There’s still so much uncertainty ahead. But here at Tutton & Young, we’re pleased to announce that MADE MAKERS online will continue to go live every month. The next edition will open from 1st – 2nd August, providing a platform for buyers to make contact with artists and source extraordinary pieces.
Lockdown has taught us the value of community and creativity; of adapting to difficult circumstances and supporting independent businesses. At Tutton & Young, we are very proud to present the exceptional makers that our events are known for.
