Drawing inspiration from historical ceramic wares, vintage textiles, paper ephemera and themes of collecting and commemoration, Virginia creates useable ceramics that collage together nostalgic form and imagery with just a little playful humour.
2021 is Virginia’s 21st year as a maker. During that time she has exhibited widely across the UK and further afield with many pots finding their way into public and private collections across the world. She works from her garden studio in Wiltshire on the southern edge of the Cotswolds.
The range, which is entirely handmade from slabs of clay and slip cast pieces, includes mugs in various sizes, Virginia’s ever popular bud vases, as well as jugs, bowls, planters, and a few Christmas decorations for those getting prepared early!

Barrel Teapot - £175 Made from slabs of clay decorated with slips and transfer prints.
size approx. 18cm tall x 29 wide, serving approx 5 cups.

A storage jar made from contrasting slabs of stoneware clay, a transfer print on one side and a coloured slip on the other. This caddy measures approximately 18cm tall x 13cm wide.
