A delightful dark blue indigo dyed shibori cushion looks great against a neutral or grey palette. This shibori pattern is known as “Ne maki’ from the Japanese word “Maki” which means “wrapped”.
Each segment of the pattern band has been hand bound using a special “Kamosage” binding knot using a baking bead at the core and using strong Japanese binding thread. The fabric wrapped bead is given a twist so that each pattern is different.
