I am a contemporary jeweller, using silver & hand stitched silk threads to add layers of colour & texture to my work. I work with found objects that I collect from mudlarking along the River Thames. I particularly like those objects that have been made by the hands of past generations, that have had a previous life & use & that can be worked on by my hands to give them a new chapter in their history. The mudlarking range are all one off pieces, but if you see something you like that has already been sold please feel free to get in touch to see if I can make something with similar for you.

Mudlarked pin earrings - £100
These little silver earrings incorporate tiny pins found when mudlarking on the Thames foreshore. They were handmade a few hundred years ago & would’ve been used to keep clothing on & to attach accessories. I hand stitch them to the silver earrings with silk threads in the colours reflecting the city the river runs through, & in making them wearable again add another layer to their history.
Pins are approx 2.25cm & the silver measures approx 1.25cm x 1cm
